How to get there ?
By public transport:
From Central Station any Metro, get out on Weesperstraat,
walk towards Wibautstraat and over the first bridge
over the water/carway, go to the left on to Mauritzkade
and follow the road to the first right, in to
Andreas Bonn straat and come at Boerhaveplein.
Its the circle shape bathhouse in this square.
Also tram 3 (get out At Ruyschtraat) tram 7
(get out at Oosterpark hospital side)& tram 10
By bike:
go to Weesperstaat and see above
By car:
on roundway a10 Take exit s112 at trafic lights go right
under viaduct, drive untill tramway(Ruyschstraat) and go
right here (pass the bakery Hartog on the right), then next
one left at the end right you are on Boerhaveplein.

Op een avond vertelt een oude Cherokee-indiaan aan zijn kleinzoon bij het vuur over de innerlijke strijd die bij mensen van binnen gaande is…
Cherokee & Wolf
Hij zei:
“Mijn zoon, deze strijd is eigenlijk een strijd tussen 2 wolven die binnen in ons allemaal huizen.
De ene wolf is slecht, kwaad, jaloers, afgunstig, bezorgd en heeft spijt. Hij is hebzuchtig, arrogant en heeft zelfmedelijden. Ook is hij wrevelig, heeft valse trots, voelt zich superieur en inferieur tegelijk, liegt en heeft een groot ego.
De andere wolf is goedaardig en welwillend. Hij straalt vrede, liefde, hoop, nederigheid en zachtaardigheid uit. En hij is ook vriendelijk, behulpzaam, empatisch, genereus en rechtschapen en compassioneel.”
De kleinzoon van de Cherokee indiaan zat een minuutje voor zich uit in het vuur te staren en na te denken over de woorden van zijn opa.
Dan kijkt hij zijn opa aan en zegt:
“En wie wint er opa?”
Waarop de oude indiaan het wijze antwoord geeft:
“Degene die jij te eten geeft, jongen!”
