ABOUT NATIVIX
The musicians Fabricio Nativo & Andrea Möchel form the duo NATIVIX, with the purpose of mixing electronic music styles such as psy, trance, electro, house, tribal, dub e rap and their ethnic musical roots, using elements from indigenous tribes, Congo gatherings and organic sonorities.
Fabricio Nativo is a singer, song writer, percussionist and event producer since 1993 and for a long time he kept open a place called Espaço Cultural Gueto where he promoted, among other things, many concerts with Brazilian and foreign bands. Native of Barra do Jucu, land of fishermen and Bandas de Congo (an afro-indigenous culture manifestation) community. As a kid he started playing the drums influenced by the traditional drum beats. In his youth he started his first punk rock/hardcore band. He also performed in different bands until 2003 where he began experimenting with the possibilities of mixing voice, electronic sounds and percussion.
Andrea Möchel was born in a northeast state of Brazil, Maranhão, land of reggae and afro-indigenous culture called bumba-meu-boi, and grew up surrounded by music, influenced by musicians grandmother, father and uncles. She lived for 2 years in California and returned to Brazil decided to make music a priority in her life. She plays electric guitar since 1997 and joined many bands as a guitarist and backing vocal. In 2004 started to mix voice and guitar to electronic beats and bass.

They mix vocal trance, psy, electro, tribal, house, rap and dub with brazilian, indigenous and organic sonorities.
They already played in different parts of Brazil such as Espirito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, Minas Gerais, Bahia, Goias, Maranhao and countries like Spain and France.
NATIVIX spreads the message of inner search and respect towards Mother Nature.
